We pass make some practical stops in Anchorage which is just like any other large town in the US although it feels surreal after all the miles of mountains and valleys that we’ve been through. But then we are on to Seward where we see more beautiful scenery. The road runs along the Cook inlet and there is also a set of train tracks running along. I guess a popular way to get to Seward Is to take the train and I can see why as o watch the view.

We are staying here for four nights. This is the first time we have stayed anywhere for more than one night and it’s such a relief! Our first day we rode our bikes into town and saw some bald eagles along the way. There is major fishing here so last night as they were cleaning fish there were several more eagles flying around to get some leftovers.
